The
Super Eagles camp will re-open today, after the players were released for the
weekend’s npfl matches.
Head
Coach, Sunday Oliseh had made some adjustments to
the group of home -based professionals Heartland FC pair of David Obiazor and
Nelson Ogbonnaya, had been sent home because of injuries while Oghenekaro Etebo
(Warri Wolves) and Kingsley Sokari (Enyimba) were sent to the All-Africa Games -bound U-23 team,dream team
six.
Also,
Heartland's Bright Ejike, U-23 Team captain Azubuike Okechukwu and Warri
Wolves' Lordson Ichull were also released.
Meanwhile,
sunshine stars duo of Paul Onobi and Dayo Ojo, (Wikki Tourists) Godwin Obaje,
(Nasarawa United) Bature Yaro, (Enyimba FC) Abdulrazak Abdul, (Abia Warriors) Austin
Obaroakpo and Okiemute Odah of Warri Wolves have been called up as released.
Coach
Sunday Oliseh has explained the need for a reshuffle of players in the teams
camp.
The
ex-international stressed that there are a lot of matches coming up for the
team and they have to be prepared for not just the September 5th Afcon 2017 qualifier against the Taifa Stars of
Tanzania and the September 8 international friendly
against Niger Republic.
